Our paper “State Snapshot Process Discovery on Career Paths of Qing Dynasty Civil Servants”, lead-authored by Adam Burke, was named “Best Out of the Box Paper” at the 2023 International Conference on Process Mining in Rome Italy. The paper introduces a new approach for exploring career trajectories in longitudinal data, and illustrates the approach with an analysis of CGED-Q JSL data.
