Caltech at night
Photos of the Caltech campus at night. I enjoyed walks around the campus at night when I was an undergraduate, so when I am back on campus I like to talk walks in the evening.
Caltech by day
I reorganized my photographs of Caltech to separate them into day and night galleries. These are the day galleries.
Montaña de Oro State Park
On our trips up and down the coast, we like to stop at Montaña de Oro State Park. The views of the shore and ocean from the walk along the bluffs is spectacular. The full Montaña de Oro State Park gallery is at my Smugmug site.
Pismo Beach
On our way up and down the coast on the 101, we like to stop in Pismo Beach. The complete Pismo Beach galleries are at my Smugmug site. There are two galleries: one for daytime photos of Pismo Beach that has lots of pictures of pelicans and seagulls, and pictures looking up at the bluffs…
Oceano Dunes
On our trips back and forth on the 101, we also like to stop at the Oceano Dunes. We park at the entrance and then walk to the preserve that is off-limits to off-road vehicles. It’s always spectacular, and a lot of fun. The full gallery of Oceano Dunes photos is at my Smugmug site.
Huntington Library
While in Los Angeles in summer 2021, we also visited the Huntington Library and wandered around on the grounds. As usual, it was lovely. Here are the resulting photos, along with photos from earlier visits in years past.
Griffith Park, Los Angeles
While we were in Los Angeles in summer 2021, we visited Griffith Park. We took the shuttle to the Observatory and then walked up to Mount Hollywood. We were there around sunset, so had some nice pictures looking to the west as the sun was setting. The gallery also includes some pictures from earlier visits…
