200 Clarendon Street (John Hancock Tower) pictures

Posted on August 31, 2024August 31, 2024 by camecamp

While in Boston, I took some pictures of the John Hancock Tower, aka 200 Clarendon Street. I remember the building from my childhood. When I was small, my dad used to talk about it as an example of engineering gone awry. I remember in particular him talking about the windows popping out and falling to the sidewalk. It really is a remarkable building, and it seems like they’ve addressed the issues with retrofits. Here’s the original gallery of 200 Clarendon Street Photos.
